Julie and Ross' Wedding Day!

Bank Holiday weekend and a wedding for Ross and Julie and what a great wedding it was too.  Julie and Ross had chosen to get married at Christchurch Priory following in a family tradition, Julie’s Mum and Dad and grandparents had also married there too.  This made it very special for the happy couple and all of their guests plus the fact that it is a stunning venue too!

It was a fairly early start for both Alan and I.  I met up with Julie at her parents house and Alan met up with Ross at the home he shares with Julie.  It was definitely ‘all systems go’ with Julie and her five bridesmaids, Karen, Amy, Luisa, Jenna and Emma, but everything went like clockwork and soon they were all ready to go.  Julie looked beautiful in her Phoenix gown from All Aspects Bridal and the bridesmaids in their full length crimson dresses bought a lovely splash of colour to the occasion!

Ross and his best man Robbie, ushers Dean and Rich all looked handsome in their morning suits as they posed for photos and got ready for the ceremony.
Julie and her bridal party were driven to the Priory in style in Barnes Limousine’s finest cars, I love the vintage look and the classy cream and black of the shiny cars provided a real sense of occasion.  I think everyone in Christchurch stopped and had a little nose as they made their way to the church.
The ceremony was lovely and it was wonderful to hear the hymns and choir, but a special mention must go the playing of the Military Wives Choir ‘Wherever You Are?’ as Ross’ sister and bridesmaid Jenna is a member of this wonderful institution, it was very apt and very fitting for the occasion.
Once married it was outside for photos before heading off to The Marsham Court Hotel for the reception.  The beach beckoned for more photos of the newly weds and their bridal party before the wedding breakfast commenced.
Alan and I were delighted to be a part of Julie and Ross’ big day and wish them a wealth of love and happiness as they begin a new chapter in their lives.  They headed off to Mexico this morning and we hope they have a wonderful time there too.
Love
Donna and Alan XXXXX
