The morning for me was spent with the girls, overlooking Poole Quay, it was a relaxed morning, but the air of excitement was clear to see. Lizzy was accompanied by her Mum, her Aunt, her sisters, her best friend and two of the cutest girls ever. They all made me feel very welcome as they dressed for the big day. Lizzy's dress was beautiful and could not have been more suited to her. She made a stunning bride!
Alan made his way St George's church in Oakdale for to meet the boys. Howard looked dapper in his navy frock coat complete with velvet collar. Equally relaxed, they posed for photos and greeted the guests as they arrived. Once in side the church, the formalities began and soon Lizzy and Howard were married! This lovely couple could not stop smiling. Congratulations!!
The newly weds had chosen to hold their reception at the Art Deco inspired Cumberland Hotel in Bournemouth, so we all headed their for the fun to begin. Alan and I took the new Mr & Mrs down to the beach for some photos before it was time to sit down for the wedding breakfast and the speeches. It was lovely that Howard thanked us during his speech, and even if he did get my name wrong, he is very much forgiven :-)
The evening guests soon arrived and boy were they in for a treat, you see Howard is part of a 13 piece Swing Band called 'The Regular Joes' who played for Lizzy and Howard's first dance! But the fun was to continue as Howard took his place centre stage to sing for his guests, and to throw a few sneaky dance moves in there too!
Thanks guys for choosing us to photograph your wedding, we had a wonderful time and I know that you did too!
Lots of love for the future
Donna and Alan xxxxx
