Lulwoth Castle Wedding Photography for Sally and Gareth

On Saturday it was the turn of Sally and Gareth to tie the knot and they chose to do this in a traditionally English style, and a beautiful wedding it was too! The ceremony was to take place at St Andrew’s Church on the Lulworth Estate, followed by a reception in the Castle itself. It is a stunning venue and this was most certainly a stunning wedding.

On the morning itself, I met up with Sally and her parents at their home in Swanage. All was relaxed and I was made to feel very welcome. Sally’s beautiful Pronovias dress was hanging ready for our beautiful bride to wear and it was soon time for hair and make up to be completed. Sally had chosen to wear a garland of flowers in her hair and this was gorgeous, full of herbs and beautiful English blooms which complemented her hand tied Bouquet perfectly.

Alan met up with a slightly less relaxed Gareth, his best man, groomsman and ushers in Lulworth cove before heading off to the church. Sally’s bridesmaids, all six of them, have chosen to get ready there too so it was not until Sally’s arrival at the church did she get to see all the planning come together. Sally’s bridesmaids looked wonderful in their blue dress and beautiful pink bouquets, it really was a picture perfect scene.

Soon the couple were married and following confetti and a rousing tune from their Piper they headed into the gardens of Lulworth Castle for afternoon tea. A quick verse of ‘Happy Birthday’ for Sally who was also celebrating her birthday made the day all that more special.

Once the group shots were taken it was time to head into the Castle for their pre-dinner ‘Ceilidh’ which was excellent fun. Alan and I left as their guests sat down for dinner.

It was another wonderful wedding for us and again, it makes us appreciate just how lucky we are to do the job that we do! Congratulations go to the newly weds, thank you for choosing us to photograph your wedding. We wish you health and happiness for the future.

Love
