Like all of our weddings, I met up with the bride on the morning of the wedding, where accompanied by her Mum and sister Alytia the ladies got ready at The Haven Hotel in Sandbanks. Fiona looked beautiful in a custom made and designed wedding dress embellished with antique French lace over Italian silk. Bridesmaids Charlotte and Olivia arrived a little later and the room was a hive of activity as they all got ready. We met up with the super cute Alfie and Daisy at the church.
This time, Alan met Ashley and the boys at Hotel du Vin in Poole Quay, where dressed in all their finery they posed for photos. The boys looked very handsome in their grey suites and old rose button holes.
Fiona and Ashley had chosen to hold their ceremony in the stunning St James’ Church at Poole Quay, it is a wonderful church in which to photograph, filled with light and full of history! The couple exchanged vows and rings and emerged as Mr and Mrs where photos were taken before heading off in a downpour of hail to Evening Hill and onto The Italian Villa at Compton Acres for their reception.
The Japanese gardens were just coming into life and the greenery punctuated with stunning flashes of azalea colour. Photos taken it was time for their wedding breakfast and speeches before a sneaky trip to the beach for more photos before the evening reception could begin.
Alan and I would like to extend our congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs and wish them a long and happy marriage. Thank you for choosing us to photograph your wedding!
Donna and
Alan XXXX
