The morning began for me with Natalie, her parents, sister Sammy and bridesmaids Sarah, Sophie and Dominique where the girls busied themselves getting ready. There was an atmosphere of calm excitement in the air and it was lovely being a part of this. Natalie had chosen a gorgeous Mori Lee diamante encrusted gown to wear which was exquisite and suited her perfectly and this was completed by navy blue chiffon bridesmaid dresses from Coast. A special mention also need to go to Natalie's friend Nick, who not only did the bridal hair but also made the gorgeous wedding cake!!! Definitely one talented young lady!
Alan met up with Rob, best man CJ his brother Chris and Dad at the hotel before heading off to the Trafalgar Tavern for a nerve settling drink and general relax before the wedding began. Alan found the company of the men to be great too!
Soon it was time for the couple to take the vows, which they had written themselves; there was hardly a dry eye in the house as they became husband and wife! Rob’s Dad read Shakespeare’s Sonnet 116 and it has to be said, that we have never heard it read better, it really did make those hairs on the back of my neck stand on end. Bravo!!
Once married we headed out into the gardens for photos, aided by superstar Toast Master Michael Judd before heading inside for the wedding breakfast and the speeches.
Before the evening celebrations started, we headed to Mudeford Quay for some photos as the sun was setting prior to the evening reception starting and the eagerly awaited First Dance!!
Hearty congratulations are extended to the newlyweds, thank you for choosing us to photograph your wedding at The Christchurch Harbour Hotel. We loved being a part of your day and wish you health, wealth and happiness for the future.
Have a wonderful honeymoon in Mauritius!
Much love
Donna and Alan xxxx
