Mark and
Louise had chosen to hold their ceremony in a beautiful little church St
Swithun’s in Martyr Worthy deep in the glorious Hampshire countryside. The couple had chosen this church as Mark’s
grandparents had married there some years before, which is a lovely sentiment.
The morning
started for me with Louise at her parents’ house, where everything was relaxed
and calm. Louise was accompanied by four
attendants, sister Emma, close friends Lindsay and Natalie and the cutest flower
girl ever, niece Amber. It really was a
nice place to be. Alan met up with the boys at Easton and Martyr Worthy Cricket Club where Mark is a keen player. His was accompanied by his best man and brother Sam and his ushers, Martin and Graham. They all looked very handsome in their grey suits, waistcoats and lilac cravats.
Louise made here way to the church with her proud father Chris in a splendid vintage cream Bentley and it was here that the beauty of her Benjamin Roberts, raw silk gown could really be appreciated. She looked stunning! Her bridesmaids in knee length lilac dresses complemented the look perfectly for the typically English country wedding.
Vows
taken, unity candle lit, it was outside
for the formal photographs before we whisked the happy couple down to the River
Itchen for some more lovely bridal portraits.
The guests made their way to the reception venue, The Norton Park Hotel
where the celebrations were to begin.
Louise and
Mark held their wedding breakfast in the Great Barn where their guests were
treated to fine dining and lots of love and laughter. The formalities were completed with three
totally appropriate and heart felt speeches, even if Mark’s brother, Sam couldn’t
resist a dig at Mark’s passing resemblance to a certain Peter Andre!!
In the lull
before the evening guests arrived, we took the new Mr and Mrs to be
photographed in the hotel’s extensive and impressive grounds. We are very pleased with the photos taken
here in particular!
The first dance
came next and the evening began with lots of dancing and smiles.
We would
like to thank Louise and Mark for choosing us to photograph their wedding. We wish them a long and happy marriage and
hope they have a wonderful time in Rhodes.
Much love
Donna and
Alan xxxxx
